A teenager's years are full of excitement, but also confusion, anxiety and change, for both of you.
You were once your child's everything and as they seek out independance, push boundaries and prioritise friendships it can feel really hard. Perhaps you have lots of arguments with each other, maybe they don't talk at all?
It can feel even more difficult when you can see your child suffering with something like anxiety, but they won't confide in you, and you just want to help them.
This is where parent counselling can really help. I work with parents one to one to help them to find ways to reconnect with their children who may be struggling.
